About IMAGe Society
The Indian Myeloma Academic Groupe (IMAGe) group is formed to strengthen research and create awareness about plasma cell disorders in the Indian subcontinent. It is a common platform for patients, caregivers, residents/fellows, and treating physicians. We target at forming consensus guidelines/ recommendations that can be adapted to the Indian subcontinent. ‘IMAGe’ publishes patient information relevant from time to time. This group was conceived during the State-of-the-Art Myeloma conference at PGIMER, Chandigarh in September 2016 and formally launched in February 2018 during the Indian Myeloma Congress at AHRR, Delhi.
Diversity
India is a land of “Unity in Diversity”. We stand united in our efforts for Myeloma care across diverse races, castes, creeds, religions, and languages.
Innovation
Innovation is the backbone for research and health development programs in resource constraint settings. The relation between research and innovation is interchangeable.
Database
Collecting and analysing information is crucial for taking accurate health policy decisions. We join hands to create a national database of all patients with Myeloma
Research
Research specific to the region is a cornerstone in the health care development of any disease. We undertake India-specific research in Myeloma.
