Quiz Rules & Schedule


Prelims: 8:00 AM - 9:15 AM, 10th January 2025, Friday

Finals: 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM, 12th January 2025, Sunday

Rules for quiz participation:

  1. Registration for the Conference is Mandatory!
  2. Teams of 2 (Any combo of Clinical Hematology/Medical Oncology/Hemato-Pathology/Onco-Pathology) are invited to take part if they fulfil any of the following eligibility criteria.
  3. Eligibility criteria:
    Currently pursuing a residency (DM/DrNB) in Clinical Hematology/Medical Oncology/Hemato-Pathology/Onco-Pathology.

    4. Or

    Post MD, and currently pursuing a fellowship in Hematopathology/Onco-Pathology/Medical Oncology/Clinical Hematology.

  4. The decision of the Quizmasters will be Final and Binding.
  5. 2nd Fare AC will be reimbursed for each quiz participant, irrespective of mode of travel.

Rules for Prelims: (Quiz masters – Dr. V. A. Arun, Dr. Karthik Bomannan)

  1. In prelims, 30 questions will be asked. Time limit of 60 seconds per question.
  2. No negative marking.
  3. No over-writing is allowed.
  4. The top 5 teams will proceed to the Finals.
  5. There is no restriction on the number of teams that can participate from one institute in prelims, but only one team from an institute can qualify for the finals.
  6. Results will be declared on 12th January, 2025 at 07.45am, before the finals. Teams who have qualified in top 5 and are not present physically at the time of result declaration will be disqualified.

Rules for Finals: (Quiz masters – Dr. Jasmita Dass, Dr. Sumeet Mirgh)

  1. Finals will be held on 12th January, 2025 between 8.00am - 9.30am
  2. There will be five rounds, covering both clinical and laboratory aspects.
  3. Top 3 teams will get awards. Awards to be announced soon.
